Together with the Q-team of Feyenoord City, we visited and approved the 1:1 mock-up of Block C, the first mixed-use building to be realized within Atlas, Rotterdam. The building will house 135 apartments, a shared living room, and a communal rooftop garden, offering residents spaces to connect and unwind.

The mock-up gave us the opportunity to refine the final details together with the contractor and façade builder before full-scale prefabrication begins.
Block C will be fully constructed using prefabricated elements, free from scaffolding, including the exterior façade components, which consist of terracotta-colored concrete frames that are either washed or polished.

Within these elements, champagne-colored aluminum window frames and perforated cassettes, which cover acoustic grilles and ventilation hatches, complete the building’s appearance alongside the mosque.
